YCDMA is a software written using VISUAL BASIC ® 6.0 (Professional Edition). The software is able to run on WINDOWS 32 bits platforms (such as 2000, NT, XP). This program is designated to manage microsatellite data (mono- and bi-allelic). There is no limitation, other than your hard disk capacity, for the amount of data which can be recorded in the software Database.
In order to reflect the hierarchical organization of an experiment, samples may be arranged into user-defined populations and populations into groups.
Data defined in an experiment may be exported in one of the following formats (allowing their use in the corresponding softwares) :
For the new release populations genetics computations (Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, Linkage disequilibrium, Populations differentiation and Nm estimation) as well as paternity test were added. On the other hand some minors bugs were corrected.
